We believe our service plays a vital role throughout our community in providing excellent education and care for all families and their children.

What is Family Day Care?

Family Day Care is a child care service where small groups of children are provided with high quality education and care, in a family focused environment in the homes of individuals who are registered with our service.  Family Day Care is an alternative to centre-based child care and is the preferred option for many parents who wish to place their children in a “home-like” atmosphere.

Family Day Care Gympie Region offers families a flexible, convenient and diverse child care choice, which can be matched to your family’s needs.  Our service offers care for children aged 0-12 years in small mixed groups, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at an hourly rate, and includes:

• Full time care
• Part time care
• Before and after school care
• 24 hour care
• Casual/On Call care
• School holiday care
• Relief care
• Care for children with additional needs

Family Day Care Gympie Region has approximately 30 Educators contracted to our service, and provide care in the Gympie, Mary Valley, Cooloola Coast and Tiaro areas.
